In Blue Water, Emily Hunter, a young woman with schizophrenia tells the reader of a little girl in pink pajamas who she calls “Carrot”. Emily belives that Carrot is trying to tell her something important, but to unravel the mystery means leaving behind her medication and her road to recovery.
